Imagination

“So you see, imagination needs moodling—long, inefficient, happy idling, dawdling and puttering.” --Brenda Ueland

  1. Vickie. I love these new paintings. Heaven is truly reflected in them: so bright, so colorful, so full of life.

  3. Thank you both for these comments. This type of painting is very playful, which is one of the reasons the result is so appealing. It begins with a wash of colors. When this layer dries, you then define shapes, whatever you see or imagine, by adding more color around the shapes. The results are always surprising and fresh.
