“If you ask me what I came to do in this world, I, an artist, will answer you: I am here to live out loud.”--Emile ZolaAzalea
We are all artists. We come into this world to create. To create our lives, to crack our doubts wide open, to live our stories. There are no mistakes. There is no time wasted. There are no failures. There is only our becoming and our dreams and our stories. So take a deep breath. Lift your voice high and live out loud.

ReplyDeleteGreat paintings. Wonderful combination: painting and wildlife. Must give you a lot of pleasure. Was interested to see the one of the microlite. What was the person on the microlite to apropos the birds?
Thank you! okay, I'm laughing...I laugh at communication and at myself, a lot. Could you translate that please?...lol. Just kidding but it took me a minute. Microlite...must be another name for what we call ultralights? (Although, I'm sure my Canadian friends would have recognized the term right away.)
ReplyDeleteThe ultralights are flown by costumed pilots--costumed so that the human form is not recognized. Ultralights in my art are teaching whooping cranes to migrate. They innately have the urge to migrate but they must learn the route from their parents. When we lost all the whooping cranes in eastern North America, we then needed to teach them to migrate.
Check out my post on March 19 and I'll post more about this tomorrow. You have asked me about my favorite story!
Vickie, you will never know how much i needed to hear that quote...ta for that...A
ReplyDeleteI'm glad it was timely for you. Its a good reminder for me too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quote and I simply love the photo. How beautiful the Azalea's. They look almost transparent.
ReplyDeleteThank you, indigo-daisy. I think that color is exquisite, too.
