For the Love of It...
...the sage sees heaven reflected in Nature as in a mirror, and he pursues this Art, not for the sake of gold or silver, but for the love of the knowledge which it reveals.

Vickie. I love these new paintings. Heaven is truly reflected in them: so bright, so colorful, so full of life.
ReplyDeleteVickie, This painting is absolutely gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThank you both for these comments. This type of painting is very playful, which is one of the reasons the result is so appealing. It begins with a wash of colors. When this layer dries, you then define shapes, whatever you see or imagine, by adding more color around the shapes. The results are always surprising and fresh.
