  1. What a heavy load for your litttle Christmas tree to bear! I suppose all Christmas trees share that onerous responsibility of bringing happyness to athe greedy as well as the needy.
I love your blog and your adventurous spirit. Riding horses is at least within reasonable proximity of the ground, flyinf is a little different. The Prof. has a pilot's licence so we have flown a fair bit in small planes.
I wish you all success with getting your novel published.
Your paintings are in a class of their own as is your care for the planet.

  6. Hi Tabib. In TN our trees are dripping with rain instead of snowy but the spirit's there just the same.

Thanks, Toni. Laying down a mult-colored wash is freeing. It makes you feel like anything you do next is okay.

For the Love of It...

...the sage sees heaven reflected in Nature as in a mirror, and he pursues this Art, not for the sake of gold or silver, but for the love of the knowledge which it reveals.

Your Uncapped Creativity...
"There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening that is translated through you into action; and because there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique. If you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and it will be lost. The world will not have it. You must keep that channel open. It is not for you to determine how good it is, nor how valuable. Nor how it compares with other expressions. It is for you to keep it yours, clearly and directly." ----the great dancer, Martha Graham
